Couple shoot in Porto Cervo, Sardinia

I first met Polina & Daniel last year when I photographed their love story in Vienna before their wedding. They also happened to be guests at Samira & Hermann’s wedding in Sardinia and asked me to take some pictures of them in Porto Cervo where they were staying. It was great to explore this little jewel of Sardinia and afterwards we had a great seafood dinner at Spinnaker Restaurant - highly recommended!

Pre-wedding beach get-together Sardinia

Samira and Herman had their pre-wedding get-together at Oasi Beach Marana to welcome all their guests that traveled to Sardinia for their wedding. It was a great beach location for sundowners and gelato and the evening ended with dancing and a spectacular fire show.

Sardinia Wedding at Petra Segreta Resort

I first met Samira and Hermann at the wedding of Farnusch and Pedram last summer where she was a bridesmaid. She told me a little about her upcoming wedding plans but at this stage they only knew they wanted to get married on a beach :-)

Several months passed and when they started location scouting they visited Sardinia with the idea to search for a beach venue. What they didn’t know was that it was low season and everything was closed and were even stuck to find a hotel for their stay. Samira started searching on the internet and came across an image from the Petra Segreta Resort and she instantly fell in love with the location. They phoned up the resort and booked a room, and the rest is history. They loved the location, the feeling of the surrounding nature and the amazing views Petra Segreta has to offer and thus they found their wedding venue.

I am so happy and honoured to have documented their special day. It was one of the most special, intimate and heartwarming ceremonies I ever experienced. The sun, the wind, the light, the music. No words can describe, you just had to be there.

Engagement session at Spaggio Capriccioli, Sardinia

I am photographing Eva and Berni’s wedding in just a few weeks which I am really looking forward to! They happened to be guests at Samira & Hermann’s wedding in Sardinia last month so we took the opportunity to make their engagement pictures down at one of the many beautiful beaches the Costa Esmeralda has to offer.

Wedding brunch at Chateau Mcely, Prague

Ivica & Fran organised a brunch for their guests the morning after their wedding at Chateau Mcely. It was a wonderful way for everyone to relax and enjoy each others company before saying goodbye and going their separate ways back to the UK and abroad.

It was a pleaseure to shoot in Prague again as Ivica and Francisco celebrated their perfect wedding day in early May. Ivica got ready at the beautiful Chateau Mcely where the reception also took place, while their ceremony took place in the Vysehrad Basilica.

I managed to meet Ivica and Fran a few months earlier in London where they live to get to know each other which is always very important for me. It has been wonderful now to see them celebrate their wedding and how everything turned out so perfectly! All their guests travelled from abroad so they organised a get-together the evening before on a boat around the Vltava river and a brunch on the Sunday after the wedding.

Their wedding was wonderfully organised by the girls from White Agency Prague.

Prague pre-wedding Boat Party

Ivica and Francisco live in London and are of Czech and Chilean descent respectively. As most guests travelled from the UK and abroad for their wedding they organised a get-together for everyone on the friday evening before the wedding day. I met up with Ivica and Fran to take some portraits at Prague Castle beforehand and then we headed to the Vltava river where a boat awaited all the guests before departing on a 3 hour cruise along the river. Guests were able to admire Prague’s landmarks from the boat and the evening finished off beautifully with a firework display!

The Gentle Fairies & The Golden Flowers is a bridal line by Patricia Vincent designed to quote traditional elements of the Romanian mythological celebration of Sânziene. Every dress is conceived to carry the grace, slender and angelic features of these gentle fairies. Together with a team of talented creatives in the Austrian wedding industry, a styled shoot was put together to showcase the first dress in this line.

Spring Wedding at Schloss Mailberg

Soli and John have become dear friends of ours ever since she caught the bouquet at Kat and John’s wedding back in 2011. Looking back at that photo just the other day we realised their entire wedding colour theme revolved around the colour of that very dress!

We have a same circle of friends and would often meet-up and/or bump into each other at social gatherings. Slowly Soli and I became closer, talking mostly wedding stuff of course but loved how our friendship evolved as well. When they discovered Schloss Mailberg out in the Weinviertel they were so happy to have found the perfect location for their wedding and so a spring wedding date was fixed, even though when the day arrived it was sweltering 28°!

Soli is Persian and John British so there was again a wonderful mix of cultures and nationalities. To top it all the South American band ‘The Express Train’ (be sure to check them out live sometime!) rocked the dance floor and Soli twirled around the stage like a ballerina in her 2nd wedding dress for the evening :-) Love you guys!

Trachten Hochzeit in Gmunden at Schloss Orth

I first met Agnes last Autumn when we did a portrait shoot together. She and Markus were also guests at a wedding I photographed last summer and had been secretly following my work since. I was happy when they invited me to document their civil wedding in Gmunden just a few weeks ago. They celebrated in tracht with just close friends and it was beautiful spring day.
